It' s a 2nd gen 1972 -1980 was the first . this one is an 81 or early 82 . The first S-10s replaced that truck . Still a cool little truck and very desirable with tha Izusu diesel motor .

I like it, if I was gonna do a Luv, this is the body style I would do.

Re: What year Luv is this?

They are cool , they continued to be built in that style as an Izusu " Pup " without the Chevy emblems for a while after the S-10 was introduced .

Re: What year Luv is this?

that would be a 81-82 Chevy Luv or 81-84 Isuzu Pup. Based on the square Chevy logo behind the door on the cab, and the Chevy logo on the hub caps, I suspect it is a Chevy (but those could have been added afterwards)... and looking at the engine, I bet it is a small V6 that was typically not available as a stock option.

Re: What year Luv is this?

my 84 S-10 had a 1.9 Isuzu in her. That little truck clocked well into the 400,000 mile range with just a head gasket change.......
