New from SoCal
Hello everyone, my name is William but you can call me will for short. I joined this awesome site a long time ago and now I am finally introducing myself and my truck.
The truck is an all original 1970 CST/10 longbed with PS, A/C, and a 402 ci big block backed by a Th-400 and then a 12 bolt rear axle with the factory posi putting the power to the ground, I will speak more about it in its build up thread. My dad bought it from a guy who didn't know what he had for $1500 and after he sold the old dock bumper and camper shell he basically got it for 1k. That was his gift to me for completing school. What an awesome gift!. This won't be the first 67-72 C/10 truck that my father have done. His truck is a freshly (2 year old) restored 69' C/10 Short bed step side that has been painted viper red, lowered 3" in the front and 4" back (I think I don't remember), and a 350 chevy has been placed in between the frame rails in place of the old and tired I-6. We did all the work ourselves and he saw How much I loved it so he got me the 70'. I got it last year but with me being 17 years old and with a cash flow limited to 8 bucks an hour can't much done. |

Re: New from SoCal
Welcome, from central Indiana! '70 is my favorite year for this era trucks (I was born in '70), along with '70 chevelles. You guys did a nice job on that project, I'm a sucker for white vehicles. Keep up the good work.
