Ok there is a wire from my gas tank that is connected to a terminal on the fuse block. When I pull this wire and turn on my ignition, it goes to full, when the wire is plugged back in, it goes to empty. Help!!! Gas cost too much not to know when im empty.

I believe the problem will be with the sending unit in the tank. either the float has a hole in it and does not float anymore or the resistor is burned out. either way you will need to pull the sending unit out of the tank

Thanks for the info, unless its a cheap part, then I will live with it until I change to a bed mounted tank.

Cheap is relative-LMC sells one for ~$50 which I thought was cheap (since you don't want used in this case LOL!)

If it's the float, then it could be dirt cheap. You can afix anything that floats on the rod.. anything that wouldn't be eaten by the gas.
