new size flat rate boxes at the post office

just what the title says, it's supposed to be a larger size and costs $12.95 to send. i just saw it today while i was buying stamps and with the cost of shipping parts being so rediculous i thought it might help us small time sellers.

Re: new size flat rate boxes at the post office

Thanks for the tip.

I've used the small "flat rate, priority mail" boxes & envelopes in the past.

What's nice around here is, the Antioch P.O. has an Automated Postal Center in the lobby, so sending such things can be handled from 0630-1830 without actually going into the P.O. & dealing with lines & counter clerks.
All it takes is a debit or credit cards.
I'm sure there are many more P.O.'s that have the same service.

Jerry, Thanks for the update. I'll be looking for those boxes.
El Jay, We have a PO lobby Kiosk, 24/7. It's great

Thanks Harry

Thanks Harry
I just go in during normal business hours & grab a bunch of "Priority mail" stuff & rat hole it @ home.

Ours used to be 24/7, but the "urban campers" decided the P.O. lobby was a nice place to live @ night.
So the P.O. closed the lobby from 1830-0630. I think I may have put the wrong times in my original post.

It's an inconvenience for regular customers, but @ least it doesn't smell like stale urine & stale bodies anymore.
