New Member / Introducing myself

Wanted to take a few minutes and say hi. I currently own a 74 GMC SWB 350/350 combo. Picked her up in Dec for 1200 and have been putting time and money into it ever since. Bought F/R Fenders, new rear quarters... Dropped it with Springs / Spindles , Flip kit and C-notch. New Exhaust and some interior work. Should get it out to paint this weekend...... Still cant figure out what i want to do for colors. Truck was orginally White and Green....

I will post some before and after pics in a couple days.....

Nice meeting everybody. If any of the members live in SOCAL hit me up. I'm around and hoping to meet some members.

Added a couple pics of different stages of drops I have done over the past couple weeks. Got what i want now. LOW enough for me :

Couple new pics showing the c-notch and shocks.

Welcome aboard, lots of great information here, never be afraid to ask questions. More than likely someone out there has done or run into the same problem before.

Bought a new tray and all brackets and got it replaced. Looks good as new now. Sorry no pics of the new one. This old girl has been around. It was defiantely used hard.

Goes into the paint shop this Saturday. Gonna have to go with the original white top and green bottom. Any suggestions??????

Re: New Member / Introducing myself

It was the 2 1/2" spindle drop with the 4 inch drop in rear using shackles and hangers. Got it from LMC. Its in thier catalog. Really easy install. Took about 3 hours but worth it.

Re: New Member / Introducing myself

The damage caused by the battery / rust was so bad it ate most of the right front fender. Purchased new fender and battery tray and all is well.....

Re: New Member / Introducing myself

Welcome to the site and thank you for your service!!

I say keep it original. Two tone green and white would be awesome. I love the way the early years trucks look with the white center and trim. That old meets new look (original paint and lowered susp.) would look outstanding.
