70-71 a/c Truck w/ Buckets
I'm looking at picking up a parts truck that has a good set of buckets with the center console, not the "buddy bucket" the truck is a 70-71, a/c cab with a 400 in it. it's a 3/4 ton. the body is in decent shape. I didn't look to see if it had disk brakes, and i don't know if it runs.
i'm curious what you guys think i should pay for this. my plans are to either part it out, or sell it whole to make some $$ to pay for a paint job on my 69. I'll probably stop and talk to the guy this weekend to see if it's even up for sale, and figure out what he needs for it. |

Re: 70-71 a/c Truck w/ Buckets
if its in "parts truck shape" -- maybe 1500 at most. If its an economically feasible resto. and clean enough to drive maybe 2500 or more?? , (by economically feasible, i mean that most people won't put 20k into a 3/4 ton like they would a Cheyenne Super or something),

Thats hard without pictures. But just think what the 400 is worth. If it has all the ac brackets there is another $500. Then buckets and console to boot. Just those parts add up over a grand in a hurry.
