Brake Parts for 67 K10

Where can i find brake parts for my 67 K10? Should i just fix what is wrong, which is a cracked brake line (i believe), or should i overhaul the whole braking system w/ a new Master Cylinder, Drums, shoes, etc, and fix my brake lines?

Re: Brake Parts for 67 K10

ok, so local parts stores. I kinda want to support the board vendors, who has those parts? Most only carry C10 parts, not K10

Re: Brake Parts for 67 K10

I usually go to my local CarQuest, or NAPA stores.
The parts are usually in stock. And if not, they're usually in @ the store opening the next morning.

As for your other question(s), I'd open the job up & see what's needed before buying parts.

Re: Brake Parts for 67 K10

Supporting vendors from the board is great.
But if I get home and my shoes are not right, I can run right back up there. Or in my case have them drive a different set to my shop.
K series parts shouldnt be any harder to find than C series.

Re: Brake Parts for 67 K10

but the front drums have a huge hub on them, which i'm probably going to upgrade to a Warn or similar unit, just for better looks, ease and security
