Re: Whats this?

I can't answer where the hoses go but the canister is a charcol for the gas tank vent.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Whats this?

If your using the engine described in your signature in the truck, it probably does not have the emissions provisions to hook up to the canister (aftermarket carb.)

Re: Whats this?

The big hose goes to the gas tank (vent) the other hoses goes to a vaccum switch and the carburator.

Re: Whats this?

The way gas prices are today, I think I would capture all I could , even the vapors, that is what that thing does, it stores vapors into the charcoal, and than once started , your ported vacuum pulls the vapors from the canister to reburn, This is emission related and has no affect on performance, it actuallly can benefit you some........ one line to tank and the other line to a ported supply port on carb....

Re: Whats this?

Those vapors would come in handy maybe i'll use it to keep beer in and run that hose up to the dash.

Everybody knows it hard alcohol in the washer bottle, right? You run the squirter hose into the cab just push the button to dispense it. Beer would be nice, but the carbonation and bouncing would cause problems.

I knew a guy in high school that tried beer in his washer bottle. Only thing was it was still in his engine compartment. By the time he drove down the block the beer was a little warm. And it took him forever to fill up his cup. We tried to tell him to use vodka, but he liked his beer.... Oh and it tasted like rubber btw....
