Some more progress pics...and the engine!!
Here is some more progress pics and I got the engine back yesterday! Engine was clean as a pin inside and was in great shape, just updated some stuff and painted it, new headers and carb!

bigdon I'm currently in Poplar Bluff. The trip was kind of last minute, so I hated calling incase you had other things going on. I should have another trip in the next couple of weeks, so I'll give you a call, and maybe I'll be able to check out your Blazer.

the engine looks even better than you described on the phone!!! very nice! the Hedmans should give you a nice increase in hp and torque. looks like a 650 or 700 Holley????
and it goes without saying, the body is coming out beautifully! Rayburn takes his time, but it's soooooo worth it!

A buddy of mine did the engine paint job after changing a few gaskets and such. He use a hi temp paint brand name VHT , Chevy orange...He got it an O'Reilly's Auto Parts store. Thanks for the kudos!
