Mechanical Fuel Pump/GM Crate Motor?
Hey guys,
As you can see the fuel pump mounting plate does not match the block design. Is there a different type of mounting plate and fuel pump for Gm crate motors? Thanks....Rick

Your problem is probably the plate. A lot of aftermarket parts (especially Chrome one's) do not fit correctly. I have ran into this a lot.

I think the section I circled is what has me confused. On my old block it is kind of rounded off in that spot and not square. I think the plate will work....I hope!
