Change front hubs to narrow on dually?

I've got the 78 GMC Dually chassis under my 50 GMC Bus. The front end is just a little wide. I plan to lower it with bags or spindles.
I can widen the front fenders from the inside edge about 2 inches. Does anyone know of a different hub that would bring the wheel in just a bit?
I discovered that as far as the rear goes, I was able to use a Commercial dually rear end. It was 8 inches narrower, but used the same spring perches!
I'll post pics later.
John

Use the standard 3/4 ton rotor with the dually rim. They do it all the time over at www.duallyscene.com. That way they can tuck their front wheels on thier bagged duallys.

im sure they do that only when they are running 22in semi wheels.. adapters to 10 lug..

So how would u run the stock dually rim in front?

Re: Change front hubs to narrow on dually?

So, here is how its done: Use 1-ton NON-dually front hubs. They bolt on and are the correct depth (width). The problems is the 16 inch wheels won't wrok because the calipers hit the wheel--at least on my Alcoa's. A P30 Grumman stepvan (like a breadtruck or fedex) runs 19.5 inch wheels and some if not most will bolt on. They can sometimes be found for about $50 with tire each.

It's like Brooklyn said...you only need to do it if you plan on tucking 22"+ wheels.

...and even at that, it's purely optional. You can tuck a 22 with the DRW hubs, the SRW hubs simply allow you a bit more room to turn the wheels while aired out.
