I think im going to do a pro touring truck any suggestions on a rear suspension setup that would provide better handling? I have already decided on the porterbuilt C4 dropmember on the front. suggestions, pictures, website links anything appreciated.

CPP i think makes a 2 link rear suspension system -- the stock trailing arm setup is actually really good in back -- but for appearance's sake, you might invest in some tubular or boxed control arms

How about a C5 rear from a vette? Check out FrizzleFry's build.

I think if you are already doing the c4 front i think you should continue it to the rear also. Nothing sexier than a 4 wheel independent suspension

. I would build the truck to have a low stance and since you went with the dropmember it narrows the front track width so you can drive the truck low. Either shockwaves or coilovers would be nice. Good luck and post some pics of your progress when you start

Also one more thing. If you are keeping the stock frame i would box it for additional strength in the frame

If you look at Pro-touring.com a lot of the guys there will run "truck arms" on their camaro/nova/chevelles as their rear suspension. Well we got that for free. I'm staying with the truck arms on my truck. For right now I'm staying with the stock front setup (except for airbags and adjustable shocks) and probably bigger brakes. I may later play with moving some of the arms around to get better geometry (such as the guldstrand mod for 1st gen camaros) but I haven't spent enough time thinking/measuring/and calculating to put anything into action.
