Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
I like it the way it is. The rattle can may detract from the truck.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
I would stay away from the rattle job, and take the advice from 72cheyennesuper20 and start out by painting the wheels for a new look on the outside.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
Got a different rear end now. Holding out on putting it in until I buy a flip kit and drop shocks. Finally swapped out the grill with a stock one I bought a month or so ago. I'll try to get new pics of the front up soon... maybe after I pick up another bumper.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
Sounds like you have one waiting for you from Teeitup.
I'm going to meet Randy this weekend at the Ararat Swap Meet at Woodlands, you should try to make it. Can't wait to see more pics!

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
You sir are awesome. I just PMd Randy to ask if he'll bring the bumper down with him. I'll be there for sure, doubt I'll drive the Cheyenne with the rear end as loud as it is right now.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
Just ordered a DJM 5" Flip Kit and CalMax Drop Shocks from: http://www.godfathercustoms.com/
They have some damn good prices on DJM stuff. $127 for the flip kit and $41 per shock. I have my salvage rear end mostly cleaned up. It should be good to go by the time the flip kit gets here.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
It's going up on Craigslist and the forum here this weekend with some other stuff. It"s too heavy and awkward to ship though. Local Pickup Only.

Re: '72 Cheyenne Project - Kansas City
That thing looks good!!!! Definitely money well spent on the DJM kit!
Have you decided if you're going to make it to the All Truck Nat's? They just around the corner. As of tomorrow it's only a month away... So what's next on the build?
