Re: My new ride !!!

I like the 73-79??? much better than the 80-88. The dual headlights just don't do it for me. I'd love to have a 73-79 swb fleet truck. Good trade

Re: My new ride !!!

Thanks guys

I was a hardcore square body guy before I got my first 67 & then they just kinda got sat to the side, on occasion I would day dream about one, but never got around to doing anything with one

My bro has had the truck for like 6 years, heck he even found my 84 & told me about it, but for some reason he got bored with the 77 & wanted to trade
So I was like "dang, lets see here early front, sweet engine, front suspensions rebuilt, nice enough for a beater... Lets trade !!!!"
The 77 needs body work, but thats no biggie & that 84 just needed everything, minus the interior (the engine seems to be ok lol)

I love my new 77 !!!

Re: My new ride !!!

Thanks, some tinted windows are definitely on the list

The plan for the body is relatively simple, White w/ green pearl, rear roll pan, smooth tail gate, de-badge, de-trim, & maybe a front roll pan

i have a 5/7 on mine. all you need is a flip kit and shackles, no notch. i think you will have to clearance a bed rail for the shackle

Re: My new ride !!!

the bolt in notch will work, but if go any more it wont work, like on my truck it close to 9inches lower in the back and the bump stops on hitting the bump stops

Re: My new ride !!!

This '73-'80 guy thinks you made a good swap. I noticed how the special-effects on the dash pad of the '84 match the paint scheme. Tell me that wasn't intentional... LOL

If you're referring to the ripped up tweed on the dash pad, then yes it was totally intentional... The sun shines intention
