has anybody ever replaced outriggers?
Just looking for some tips or possibly step by step instruction. I have a cab that needs them replaced. Last time I mentioned this, people were confused about what outriggers are. They are the the z looking supports that go from the front to rear of cab. There are two underneath the floor.
number 11 in this diagram. |

I have not got to those yet but I do have them and my plan is to only use them for patches or I should say fill ins. I doubt that the whole piece would be toast at least on mine anyways.

Re: has anybody ever replaced outriggers?
Mine are all bad. I wont be able to patch them. It really sucks because this cab I have is really nice except for all cab supports. I think it is like this because the guy I bought it from had it sitting on the ground for years and I think it kind of rotted. I was really dumb to not tip the cab over when I went to buy it. I think it was so excited I finally found a good one, I didn't check the most important part. Totally amateur hour on my part. Oh well, live and learn.
