looking for information on this

my truck use to have an under the dash a/c unit... long story short the old fart my dad bought it from ripped it out... he gave it to my dad and then my dad lost it... i have no clue where it went but summer is around the connor and i really really want ac in my truck... i have all the stuff to do it but this unit so i need any info that yall have or could tell me where to get one

After market AC. I have one in my Longhorn and will look it up when I get home. It was a dealer installed item and they left all the info in the glove box...how nice was that? As I recall the company is out of business but I am not sure about that. I have the under dash part that is working but don't have the compressor or evaporator.

Here is just the underdash evaporator.
Do a google search for underdash a/c and you will find alot of them.

ok... i found the old one that was in my truck... i have no clue as to how o go about getting it back in or any thing... the only thing that i do know is that it is a penneys reliant...

The information I have is on an A.R.A. manufactured in Grand Prarie, TX. I guess I will have to find more information on mine if I ever expect to do the old 100 pt. restoration. I could always just pull it though and still be correct since it was a dealer "add-on".
