not getting any response in "Transportation"

Pasadena to Northern Washington

hoping to buy tranny and gear vendors but the $300 shipping may kill the deal
can anyone help out bringing it up. I'm not in a rush (other than commitment to purchase.) and it can be done in stages.

thanks in advance,
Al.

Re: not getting any response in "Transportation"

I'm not planning any trips but are you referring to Pasadena, Texas or Pasadena, California

Also a bump for you.

I was shown some pictures of the finished product. At least it survived the junk yard.

Re: not getting any response in "Transportation"

I`m sure it`s not Pasadena,MD.But it does help to specify the state.Good luck to ya.The transport board is a great idea, but there`s a touch of luck involved.I always give it a shot.If everyone checked in on it while on the site it would be way more effective.
How much cheaper is the GV than new?It may be worth the cost of shipping.

Re: not getting any response in "Transportation"

thx for the replies. Ya mean y'all have more than 1 Passadena down there? just kidding, Passadena CA. the deal is great, but he won't separate the tranny. It's a TH375 from a '66 pontiac with a claimed 1,600 miles and a almost new GV with all electronics. price is $1730 firm. He wants $300 for shipping. I just had my BOP TH400 rebuilt, with shift kit and HD sprag and bushings. I have to stop the bleeding this project is costing me. On a side note, If anyone up here in WA wants to do a caddy motor implant, I can get a great 425, this makes a great motor tranny combo

thx for the reminder on what state.

Al.

in Canada, just on the border. I'll come down a ways for picking up. Most of my bud's are in Blaine and Bellingham.

Re: not getting any response in "Transportation"

That guy`s playing hardball.I look at it like you`re getting a minor discount on a used (used is used) Gear Vendors and a free trans that no one other than a guy building a correct`66 Lemans would need. There`s no electronics on a GV,just electric switch and solenoid, right? That come with the new unit, too. And,it`s worthless w/o it.
I know how it is,though.I really want one bad.

I probably live within 5 miles of the guy. I could drive it up to you if you pay for my gas there and back
