LMC Highliner anyone? Pics?
I ordered an LMC highliner for the '87 yesterday. Just wondering if anyone here has one installed in a 73-87. How difficult of an install it was, fitment, and overall satisfaction, and definitely pics is what I'm after. Anyone?

Re: LMC Highliner anyone? Pics?
the headliner in my truck was pretty toasted...but before i ordered a new one i clean mine up as well as i could and used headliner glue to attach a piece of fabric i got from JoAnn fabric...figure i would give it a shot before i spent any money...it turned out great (i think, besides the wrinkles, if i had taken it more seriously i could have gotten it smooth, but i didn't think it was going to come out as nice as it did.) and only cost me about $15.
Removal and installation is a 2 person job...and your arms turn to jello putting in all the screws.

I couldnt tell ya how hard or easy it was to do install. My pop had one in his stepside. Looked real nice. The speakers weren't the greatest. I'm lookin forward to gettin one for my stepside and replacing the speakers.

I was thinking the same thing about the speaks. They say they will handle a whopping 10 Watts! That's a bunch of ...seems they could have put nicer speaks in there for the price. But, I've been pondering them for a couple years now, so here one comes. I'll update the thread when mines installed, but still hoping someone else has some input here.

thanks, BLE, that's it. It says you can paint to match, but I'm gonna leave it black since i already have some black accents in my factory green interior I'm installing.

I'm not going to update this thread anymore, as we have gone into a more "in-depth" discussion about the Highliner in another thread. Here's the link, and I'll end this one with a couple more pictures like I originally said I'd post. Enjoy, and come see the other thread. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=287842

Re: LMC Highliner anyone? Pics?
I thought about getting that one to see how hard it would be to put some decent speakers in it. From babyJay's it looks like it would be easy! Please, Let us know how it sounds when you get it done Jay.
