18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank (New Price)
Never used, but installed and rails modified to fit a 72 K20. Bought this from FuelCellGuy a few months ago for my build, but have now decided to go with a stainless steel 27 gallon tank. This will sell without the fuel pump, but with everything else, including sending unit. I had to cut away a bit of the rails for it to clear my rear shackles. I will post pics as soon as I can,
Bought for $700 and change, sell for $425 obo Located in Virginia. Willing to ship

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
Just wondering what the dimensions are of the tank. I have a custom rear suspension and want to know if it will fit. Thanks

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
Is the tank still available? How & where were you planning to install the filler?

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
Tank is still available. I hadn't gotten far enough along to worry about the filler, but I wanted to do a bedside tank.
I'll go get the dimensions in a few

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
You could change the fill with a little work...
I'm thinking about Carlisle, but I'm really busy at work and don't know if I can get the time off

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
Let me know what your best price is then, will it work with a regular carb?
You should try to make it up for the opening day... (wed?) sick call (cough, cough)

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
I do feel an illness coming on...
I don't know if you can use it with a carb or not, but it's probably much cheaper to get the one for the carb. Wednesday is opening day?

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
Yup! I'm a huge GNR fan, and the new album (although more than 14 years in the making) is going to be huge. Call me a dork, but I love 80's metal. You should see me dress up like Slash...

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
What rail modifications were necessary? My truck is also a 72.

Re: 18 Gal F/I Fuelcellguy gas tank
I just had to cut out some of the side rails so it would clear the rear shackle mounts. I don't see how it can be mounted without doing so. Nothing was modified on the tank itself, just the rails welded to the side
