New guy from Maryland
Hello all. I'm new to the fullsize scene, and I'm from MD. I've had 3 s-10's, the last one being an 89 with a 3.5 inch bodydrop and full air ride suspension. Well, it's time to move on and I wanted something that didn't have any emissions or inspection issues (along with more head and leg room!). Those of you who live in MD know what I'm talkin' about.
I just bought a 1981 GMC Sierra Grande with an inline 6 and a short bed. Since I'm broke, I just want to put on lowering spindles and an axle flip kit for now and focus on body work. The truck is amazingly straight for its age and the only rust on it is the rockers and lower door corners. Theres no rust on the bed anywhere and no cab corner problems, so I guess I got lucky. Anyway, I look forward to enjoying this site and making new acquaintances along the way. My name's Corey Last edited by seanconnery; 04-05-2008 at 07:01 PM. Reason: didnt list name |

Re: New guy from Maryland
I almost drove to Cambridge to get the truck. I ended up having the dude trailer it to my condo, which worked out for the better than having to tow it myself with my daily driver 06 toyota tacoma x-runner....
