New carpet and seats progress
I have new seats going in my truck so i figured it would be a good time for new carpet as well as some good sound deadening material. So here is some random pics of my progress as i get it finished in the next week or so.

Yeah, how easy was it? I have the twin to your truck and just ordered my carpet. Looks like a clean installation.

Re: New carpet and seats progress
The sound deadener took about 5 hours to do and that is just the floorpan. It's gets pretty difficult to get all the corners and dips in these thingsbut i'm srue it'll be worth it when there is no rattles from the exhaust. It is adhesive on one side so once its there its not moving. Here is a couple pics of the whole truck and the seats going in and i'll post progress as i complete the project over the next couple weeks or so. I'm in central Arkansas

Re: New carpet and seats progress
it's called fatmat. It will take 100 sq. ft. by the time its all said and done. Two layers on the floorpan and one layer on door panels, up the back, headliner, and anywhere else i can put it.

Wow man looking nice...
I just got my carpet in today and also my sun visors.... Is your dash pad an original or is it a Cap ?? Im still debating of whether or not to cap my cracked dash pad or pony up and buy a new one... What do you have planned for the door panels ? |

Re: New carpet and seats progress
they are little higher than stock bench but only maybe an inch or so. The biggest thing i see about them that could pose a problem is if you are over 6 ft tall they won't go back very far unless the seat is straight up and down because the top of the seat will hit the window. Luckily for me i'm not that tall so it suits me fine.
