Re: Set of Shortbed Trailing Arms

to assist you in your sale, LWB, SWB, burb, panel... all use the same lenth trailing arm.
3/4 ton had some extra metal to brace them, but are still the same length.
So in all reality, your 1/2 ton SWB arms, will fit ANY trailing arm truck.

hard to believe no one in Illinois needs any.... those things snap in 1/2 from the rust.

Re: Set of Shortbed Trailing Arms

I would try craigs list before e-bay... put down what you think is a fair price + 20 or 30 bucks so they feel like they got a deal when they talk you down a bit. But this way you don't have to deal with some schmuck in Mane or Minnasota wanting you to ship them for 30 bucks

Re: Set of Shortbed Trailing Arms

71Chevytruck,

I shipped a set last year from Jersey to Florida via DHL Ground. It worked out great! No Packaging Required. I simply used a U-bolt (regular bolt will also work) on one end and wired the other end. For an extra $4.00 they came to my house and picked them up. Sweet Deal. My cost was roughly the same. They weighed 50 lbs. Good Luck, Harry.

Re: Set of Shortbed Trailing Arms

Definetly DHL Ground. I ship everything weighing 25 or more via DHL Ground. I shipped a set of leaf springs to California from Fla. - again, no packaging. They weighed 40 lbs each, no problem. Wheels, tailgate, etc. They seem to handle there packages with care. Greyhound is another shipping method and Forward Air (check your local airport to see if they fly out of there. All 3 of these carriers seem to do good with the heavier items. Also, pretty liberal on what they take. Good Luck, Harry

Re: Set of Shortbed Trailing Arms

You have to watch DHL guys, they charge oversize fee and handling oversized stuff fee. I got a quote online then I was charged this after the item was already sent, I had an account with them they came back into account later and charged me. I wasn't very happy with them about this and that was the last thing I shipped with them, their customer service is a joke too, so be very careful.

Re: Set of Shortbed Trailing Arms

These are in excellent shape. Hardly any pitting of the metal--great pair for someone.
