3/4 hubcaps?

Anybody know where to get a set of 3/4 ton hubcaps for my '67? It's got the stock 16" steel wheels that looks like it needs about a 12" cap.

Thanks!
Tyler

Original wheels with clips?I don`t know anywhere to buy those. You can keep scouring the parts section.

Re: 3/4 hubcaps?

At 12" those would have to be "over the nubs" style of caps. Would you mind posting a picture of your wheels?

There is one place to purchase old Chevy truck hubcaps on-line. They also advertise "financing available" to give you an idea of how expensive they are...LOL!

Re: 3/4 hubcaps?

Mike,
Maybe I have later wheels because the ones I have look like the one in the background of your third picture, only with 8 lugs. It looks like the caps should snap over the top of the wheels. Yours look like they snap inside somehow?

Re: 3/4 hubcaps?

Just a note:

I didn`t say anything before because this was a tread wanting to know where a place was to buy the caps. That`s ok with the rules and it was in the message board.

But,It`s against the rules to post a "Want To Buy" without being a subscriber and that`s what this has become with the offers to sell. This type of thread rides the edge of being acceptable. Please don`t abuse it and have even asking for sources taken away, too, without a paid subscription.
And also,if this was a WTB it would have been placed in the parts board, right?

I appreciate members helping other members, but we must follow rules. This was spontaneous and that`s cool.It just drifted out of bounds.

Arrow Re: 3/4 hubcaps?

A tip for anyone looking for these hubcaps 1/2 ton or 3/4 ton , when searching ebay you will find that these are listed wrong because people find them and don't know what they are , they know they are for a chevy because of the bowtie , search ebay with term's like (CHEVROLET HUBCAP)
(CHEVY DOG DISH) (CHEVY VAN HUBCAP) you can't search with the correct term because the people that find them don't know what they fit to begin with ,
