18 and 20's ? Tire size??? Pictures??

I am thinking of getting some 18 and 20 inch staggered on my truck.. The have a 18x8 and a 20x9 in the wheel i want.. Not sure the offset on these wheels yet but i want to see some pictures and tire size of what you guys are running. I might even do 20's all the way around but i think the staggered might be cool.

bguild... you might check this link. I think it is filled with all different kinds of wheel/tire combos with the specs included.

Are you heading to the Ararat Swap Meet this weekend at the Woodlands?

Hey if you're free this weekend, there's a swap meet at Woodlands in Kansas City, KS. I know there will be a lot of board members walking around. Check out the 2008 Missouri Show Guide in my signature and you'll find a link there for more info on the show.

Heres the info on the Ararat Swap Meet as well as the Midwest All Truck Nats in Riverside, MO coming up in September.

PM me if you can make it.... maybe we can meet up!

As far as the swap meet... I've been trying to figure that out, but I haven't heard yet. When I find out I will let you know.

As far as the Midwest All Truck Nats... I believe the charge for the show was $20+.

I heard from a co-worker that he thought it was 10 bucks a car.. So if you have 4 people in a car its 10 bucks.. NOt 100% sure if that is truley accurate.

Re: 18 and 20's ? Tire size??? Pictures??

I think so.. however i just bought a cab and a rear end for my truck so I have no money.. I might not go just cause of that.. I think I would be too tempted to buy some stuff.. If I go I will take the wife and daughter on Sunday and walk around and see what its all about.
So yeah still not 100% but I am just going to play it by ear on Sunday.

I cant believe there is not posts of pictures of trucks with 18's in the front and 20's in the back.. how about 20 in front and 22 in back.. I starting to lean towards that now.

Hey here is my ugly truck. I like even numbers in front and back. I like to rotate tires often. That is just me. Adjust the height of your ride with suspension not wheel sizes. Maybe its a old way but it works for me. I got twenties all the way around. peace and chicken grease.

I'd say that's the "old" way. The reason the "true" lowriders run 13" wheels is b/c it gets em closer to the ground.

bguild... made it to the swap meet, and I won't miss another one. It was a great day, aside from the weather, but got to meet quite a few board members.

Re: 18 and 20's ? Tire size??? Pictures??

Yeah I went out there as well.. late today (sunday) It was cold as crap and I went with my wife and child (8 month old) It was too cold so i pretty much walked around for like 15 min and left.. It looked like alot of people had left and alot of it was junk.. did see some truck parts out there and one guy had a decent buy on a set of 20 inch rims that would have fit on my truck but I have connections in the wheel industry so I didnt buy anything there. I am getting a new cab and rear end this week so I am broke anyway.. What day did you guy?
