wiper arms removall?

I can't remove the wiper arms from my c10 75 help please

Assuming they are the same as an '84 model, there should be a small metal tab that locks the wiper arm into the wiper post. Stick something small between the tab and the wiper post to unlock it like a scratch-ol, then with a flathead screw driver and a nice thick assortment of detailing rags on your cowl, pry the wiper arm off the post. My truck took quite a bit of effort to get them off, but the stack of towels for paint protection is KEY!

Who needs wipers anyways?
