Re: some one needs to save these

Almost bought a burb last summer, the crossmembers were all rotted out, that ended that deal, but it was pretty nice, almost bought it for about $750 if i remember right

Re: some one needs to save these

I think after my kids are out on their own and I have some time and money in my pocket, I will spend some quality time cruising the SW for old iron. The stuff we see up here in junkyards mostly deserves to be put out of it's misery in the crusher. Seeing this just makes me ill. $600 for a driver and more parts?

They say youth is wasted on the young. I say good iron is wasted in western junkyards.

Re: some one needs to save these

Funny Burb story...

I was walking through a junk yard today and saw a really nice looking Burb. I saw it from the side about 30-40 feet away; it looked very complete, like it was driveable. I started towards it when I saw movement out of the corner of my eye that stoped me. A young bull was laying on the ground and got up to stare strait at me. Long story short, I figured I would let him keep the burb. I never asked the owner about it, just figured he didn't want anybody in that area.
