66 C10 parking light wiring

I'd appreciate someone posting a picture showing how the parking light wiring harness is run from the firewall up to the hood brace.

Here's another shot of part of it... there is a little push through plastic fastener right above the firewall plug.

what brand M/C is that? Is it chrome or powdercoated?

It is PerformanceOnline and very well chromed. It was on sale last fall with short lines and prop valve and bracket for just over $200 so I went for it. My webshots album has a good pic or two.

Okay, now I am jealous. Tell me about that ramp/lift in your garage. It looks like it may be manually lifted? I see the floor jack under it.

It's called a Kwik Lift- made in Oklahoma. You drive up on it and then use a floor jack to raise the back part of the lift. Then you flip the back legs down and lock them in place. (The jack in the picture below isn't really holding anything up... it's just sitting there.) I park my truck on it all winter... and it opens up a whole new world of fun! I bought the demonstration unit that was being used by the company here at a local O'Reilly's car show... saved a bundle on shipping. (Downside: to work under the hood you have to stand on a stool.)

Thanks Mike... I'm pretty satisfied with the stance, handling, and looks of my truck even though its frame doesn't drag the ground. The one area where the TPI has been disappointing so far is mileage... about the same as my carb setup. BUT I haven't done any datalogging at all yet to improve the tuning (my cam, exhaust and heads are not stock). I'm in hopes of improving the mileage this year by doing some datalogging and chip tuning. In terms of smoothness of power and driveability all I can say is... wow, what a difference!

OK. How about these? I'm installing an American Autowire harness and Haneline gauges. The truck also has an AGR variable ratio 68-up steering box and Ididit column that I installed last year.

Looks good Mike........the fibreglass(?) braid cleans it up nicely. I have the quick ratio box in my truck and I love it......like driving a slotcar!!! Im sure the variable will be similar.
