Dana 60 hub bolt torque?
I have a 69 C20 w/a Dana 60 rear end. I changed the wheel oil seal and repacked the bearings. My Haynes say 115ft/lbs. and I got lucky and just twisted one of the bolts and was able to screw it out. Anyway, I'm not sure what exactly the torque is supposed to be.Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

Maybe that is based off of new bolts?

More than likely. I should have bought new ones, the 40 year old ones are probably stretched out. Any clue to what the torque should be?

I looked in a pocket reference guide and it said that a grade 8 bolt 7/16 in dia. 14 threads per inch, standard dry torque is 78 ft/lbs.
