6 lug wheels- yes; I used search

Can members post pics of custom 6 lug wheels; I'm really having a difficult time finding custom 6 lugs. I'm trying to avoid converting to 5 lug.

I had new 16" tires so I went with these guys on my '69 LWB...

http://www.4wheelparts.com/PDT64327.aspx

They aren't holding up the best next to the beach but they look great and you can get the 7/16 lug openings on them.

These are pretty inexpensive and this guy sells them in 15" also. He also will sell a set of 8" and 10".

Re: 6 lug wheels- yes; I used search

just look in the 4X4 section for 6 lug rims... they have always been 6 lug.
Looking at modern 6 lug, you have to watch the size of the hub (pilot) hole, new ones are smaller, and you also have to watch the goofy late model backspacing.

I bought these off a board member here but don't know where he got them. 6 lug 20's

I have to drop the truck 2/4 and I hope they don't look so big. There's no motor or trans. in it now so that will help some.

IMO, it's hard to beat this old standby, and you can get them chrome, 5 or 6 lug, and in larger sizes. Not to mention various cap styles.

Re: 6 lug wheels- yes; I used search

Sry I don't have pics, but you can get most custom wheels in 6-lug these days. You know, the ones that take weeks and weeks to get? I know most Bonspeed and Boze wheels can be picked up in 5 or 6 lug, Intro has some models, Coddington has some, and I think you can get a lot of the Billet Specialties wheels in 6 lug. Just my .02

I sent the guy an e-mail to double check backspacing and to make sure 9.5" wide wheels won't be an issue. When it comes to wheels on these I'm an idiot...it was easier in the seventies when you could just grab a set of Cragar Magmasters and go

Wow, those are really inexpensive! Let us know if you order some, I'd like to see how they look on one of our trucks.

That is a pretty good deal. The 9.5 rim with -19 offset, if my calculations are right puts the backspacing at about 4.5, which just about perfect with that wide a rim, for the rear anyway. So this is a good deal for someone. I'd be all over these if I didn't already purchase mine.

I called the guy and sent him a picture of what we want to do with the truck. He says he's got ten years in the wheel business so I'll see what he comes up with for a wheel/tire combo

Cool, I emailed him last year and he was pretty helpful with my questions. Here are some more styles I found by Cruiser Alloy but I like the 924 the best!:http://www.hickmanstires.com/wheels.php?brand=169

Here is a pic of of the rim with a 265/70/17 tire!

Re: 6 lug wheels- yes; I used search

I wonder what a good back spacing would be for the front?
I would really like all four wheels to have the same back spacing...is this posible????

What would the back spacing be for all 4 the same??
