Re: Im gonna go with wth....
Not my style but I have definately seen much worse. One thing I have noticed about ebay is the uglier the custom job and the more half assed it is, usually the higher the reserve is. One can only guess where this trucks reserve is.

I bet the owner wears plaid sport jackets and pants to match. The color selections are all wrong and, I'll stop before I say something bad.

I agree it's a little flashy but it doesn't seem to be in that bad of condition.

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
A wheel update would bring that truck back a long way real fast! I've seen worse as well, but that's definitly a love it or hate it color combo. Anyone else notice the rear shock relocation? I haven't ever seen it done like that. The track bar is also bent. I don't know if they did that on purpose to compensate for the drop....Or is it just bent. Either way....it coulda been worse.

Who got paint all over that orange truck?Someone tryed their own custom job.At least I hope its homegrown flames.Or,the painter needs to get that down first before taking money. They`re a bit lanky.Gotta love that side marker light. You`d think there`da been one on there somewheres.

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
I'd actually drive it. See Ten is right, some rallys would make it look A LOT better. I would be concerned buying it though, check out the bed/cab relationship. Either the bed was installed wrong or the frame is bent. It form's a small "v" with the cab. My only real question is why add the goofy turn signals to the front and not the rear?

Custom "MOON" gauges...I mean...stickers.
And anyone else notice that after he installed 'poppers' to the door jambs, that in the one photo, the door opens to at LEAST 90`???

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
I am surprised nobody noticed the green showing through the flat black on the steering column. The flames are cheesey, The price is a bit much, but it's not that bad.

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
for $6000 in paint you would think he could find some one who could lay flames and not let his kids go hawg wild with the fine line tape, nothing looks more disgusting thatn a bad flame job to me

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
I really shouldn't say anything- 'cause my '67 is a total bucket of suck, but the guy should have said it was a '67 truck with a dated paint job and '80 chic rims, but a good drive train and clean interior. Instead of trying to blow smoke up our a$$es by talking up how "killer" it is.
Also- if I threw down 6-large to a paint shop and they gave my truck back looking like that.....oooooh G.D.- somebody would get hurt and the other arrested.

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
The other thing I was thinking of, was that it could be a cut down longbed where they did a poor job on the frame and put a shortbed on it, or it could have been in a wreck?

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
Looks like it would be a pain to drive. With the original pan hard bar bent and sloping upward in stead of the 15 degree downward slope that it is supposed to have. You know that the rear end is not centered as it is supposed to be. I bet when it drives down the road that when it hits a bump it wags its tail like a dog. (pengelum effect from bad panhard bar angle) WES

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
"custom Moon gauges" --- i have a moon sticker on both my DD's back bumper, and on the city's rural garbage can they gave me
The interior looks salvageable though, and the motor is - well, somewhat clean-- Why, oh why do most of these guys come from Oklahoma? groan

Not my style of paint, however we all have somewhat different tastes. It still is way better than that c10 that someone grafted a riviera front on a way back.I still have nightmares about that truck.

Re: Im gonna go with wth....
It reminds me of a time a buddy of mine bought a harley from a guy that his wife rode. It was black with red roses painted on the tank and fenders. He painted over the roses with a rattle can before he'd ride it home. Now that's funny!
