Check it out. Seems like a decent price.

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

I actually ordered one of those locally. They are made in China (of course) and the weld quality is not pretty, but they are 100 percent welded. I would consider them more of a replacement grade, but not show quality if that was what you were after.

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

I bought that one on Ebay and it doesn't fit. I couldn't put the cap on because it was to close to the top bracket. It doesn't fit the saddles either.

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

I emailed the guy referenced above and he says they did have some problems with these and he is expecting an improved 3-row product in about 2 months.

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

Here is what he said;
Quote:
Hi, honestly our recent production run has had a few with the fill cap too close to the core but not all. Most all we have sold have not been returned for fitting issues. With that said we are in the process of working with a new manufacture where the quality is much better and our radiators will be made to OEM specs and 3 row cores. We will have them in about 2 months. Please call me and I can keep you posted if you want to wait. Thanks,

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

I saw two aluminum radiator companies at AutoFair in Charlotte two weeks ago. One was an in-house custom shop and their welds looked like a stack of nickels... then there was the "E-Bay" aluminum radiator seller... they looked like they were done by welders on their first day of work with no prior welding training. The in-house ones were $465, the other ones were less than $200. You definitely get what you pay for.

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

Workinlonghorn it's the same guy I bought from. There are more on Ebay that are from the same place in China. When I emailed him about it I got the standard answer "we have never had a problem you are the first one"

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

I have a nice 4-flue aluminum radiator made by Northern (american made) that's brand new and has really nice welds and fits well. I may not use it because it doesn't have a trans cooler and I don't really wanna use an aftermarket cooler.

Re: Aluminum Radiator on Ebay

I just went through all the feed back and no one that bought the 67 to72 radiator complained. 6 buyers since March 1 all rated it good. They must all have daily drivers.
