Need some advice (maybe pics?)

I'm about ready to start back (again) on my '70 C10 project. The worst part of the original truck is the bed - it's pretty rough. It's a long bed fleetside. I know I can get a replacement bed, and/or all the replacement sheetmetal, but I'd like to also consider (albeit heresy!) installing a bed from a newer model year truck. I've heard that the beds from mid-90's models work well, but I've never seen it done with a longbed fleetside. Anybody had any experience? I'd love to see some pictures!
