Build imput, what do you guys think?

I need help deciding on a few different items, paint, interior, bumpers, seats. First off, it's my daily driver and I want more of a "hot rod" then a 4wheeler.
Paint, an orange or red, leaving the top white.
bumpers, keep the stock painted bumpers or buy chrome
Interior, fatmat and carpet( what I'm leaning toward) bedliner, or rubber mat? My only concern is it might get rained on occasionally without the top.
Seats, 99+ silverado seats, suspension seats, other ideas?
I'm leaning toward fatmat, carpet, and leather silverado seats ( I have a 3rd row tahoe seat) but am a little concerned about the interior getting rained on occasionally. Any other ideas would be appreciated as well.

Looks like you have some good ideas going on. For the rain thing I'm leaning toward neoprene seat covers for my stuff. I've got newer silverado seats too.

If it gets wet you have to dry it out or risk rusting your floors out. It'd take awhile but it'd happen.

If you plan on cruising topless a lot, maybe a rubber floor mat(s) is a good idea --- just pull it out and dry it off (again -not trying to be a perve either),

Those nice seat don't want to get wet. Better check out the bikini tops that Yukon Jack had done... I've thought about bed-lining the interior and possibly just doing carpet in the front...

Once the carpet gets wet, it takes a very long time to dry out entirely.
(depending on the climate)

If it never 'quite' dries, it will mold and mold is a bad for both driver and carpet.

A soft top would cover the bases for you, simply cover up when it rains.

I por-15'd the floor in mine and that worked out well, but I also then primered it and sprayed in a bed liner type product so I can hose it out to clean it. I am just that way though I will never figure out why they even sell trucks with carpet - defeats the whole purpose of having a truck.

I used rattleguard spray in liner and the only complaint I would have is that it is a much rougher surface than the commercial products. It has held up well through all the re-assembly process. But laying on my back to work under the dash in a T-shirt isn't really comfortable.

It was easy and made it so I didn't have to try and get my blazer into the city to have it sprayed professionally. To wide to fit on my car hauler. I think the kit was $100 but that was a few years ago.
