Lil' Red exhaust pics

Never posted pics of my 71's exhaust ...but it was up on the lift yesterday so took some pics. This was not a frame-off and was supposed to be a daily driver, it got out of control. I know it is on the 'colorful" side but just my approach.

Very nice lookin, I like it. Makes me wonder what a frame-off resto would have looked like. It was supposed to be a DD? Does that mean its not?
Once again, very nice work! I would be very proud of that(IF it was mine)!

Re: Lil' Red exhaust pics

Is that an optical illusion, or does the drive line hit the cross member? Wish my underside looked like that.

Re: Lil' Red exhaust pics

Nothing is wrong with that underside that some spray paint wouldn't fix...

How loud it is it with the mufflers being under the cab like that?

I think when the weight of the truck is put back on the springs the driveline will be back in the center

Re: Lil' Red exhaust pics

I was wondering the same thing. The picture with the sway bar and panhard bar should have pulled it over the other direction shouldn't it? It looks out of balance for some reason.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Re: Lil' Red exhaust pics

Beautiful rig, & no doubt way-better looking than mine will ever be !!!

Gonna show my ignorance with a question here, for anybody:

What are the red (wires - lines ?) on the bottom of each of the back trailing arm bolts leading over to the brake drums ?

Re: Lil' Red exhaust pics

That is purty...

Could you take a shot from the side with the truck on the ground? I would like to see how low the exhaust hangs.

Excellent work!

Thanks - thought it was something actually running out from those bolts. Crawled under mine to look & now I see. Sort of another optical illusion.
