Sport mirror mounting position.

Allright I know I'm gonna get flamed for this but I just don't seem to be typing in the right right combo in the search engine . So does anyone know a thread or if there is not one the proper mounting positions for the old style stem mirrors. Thanks. Jason

I've never had good luck with the search on here either.
What mirror are you trying to mount?

Wow I can't even type the title right!

Lonhorn Man, I'm trying to mount the stem type square mirrors just to see if I like them. I may switch to the sport ones later but since these doors are junk I thought I'd try em out. - Thanks Jason.

When and if you do the sport mirrors there are instructions in the FAQ's. Go here:

And scroll down to "FAQ's Paint and Body Related", then to "Sport Mirror Mounting"

Not to step on Andy's toes but I had to go out and take pictures of a couple of other things anyway. I'm not 100% sure what you are talking about since I've never heard of any mirrors called "stem" mirrors but I'll take a chance it's this type. Mine happen to be round head but the heads may have been changed. Notice that the passengers side arm is 1" longer than the drivers side...
