Brake light 1989 Cheyene

The brake light came on yesterday (very dim) and when I apply the park brake it come on bright as it should. Seems to be a bad ground since the switch on the park brake checked out fine with an ohmmeter and makes no difference when disconnected. No leaks in the system and everything works fine. Any idea on where to check for the poor ground which must be making the light come on dim???????
