Single Wall top questions???

Hey guys,

I am doing well with my install but keep coming up with questions. The top i got had metal pieces that had rubber in them that sealed the door glass to the top. I had my fiberglass guy refinish the top and when he pulled them off he bent them all to hell and i am having a ***** of time trying to straighten them. Does anybody know where i can get a set of those things? The rubber is readily available yet I can't find those metal pieces anywhere. Any ideas??
Thanks for your help again!!

Haven't run across that question before. Can you post a pic of the metal/rubber pieces?

I am pretty sure I have a set of the single wall weatherstrip channels at the shop, I can check it out tomorrow and get some pictures if you like.

The only metal I think of is a drip rail deflector. But not sure how they could be bent to prohibit use. Posting a pic will help.

Re: Single Wall top questions???

I know what you are talking about. They are black and held on with phillips head screws. It is a chanel that holds the door window seal. I'll keep a look out for some. Hopefully Livrat will have some. I wonder if they would be the same for 73-75's?

Re: Single Wall top questions???

I have a couple of single wall tops that i have been trying to sell for $150. with no takers. I can probably pull the door window weatherstip guides out of them if you can't find some already available. They can sometimes be difficult to detach as the screws rust into the top frame. Huck
