69 door seperation help
Anyone have any tricks or run across a fix for the doors seperating?? I've got about a 1/4 in gap right at the vent window pillar total from the inside and out side. Its throwing my new rubber gap off.
I can squeeze it together with my hand to get it where it needs. Is the fix just as simple as welding a 2 or 3 inch piece of stock to the inner and outer skins to get my gap right????

Usually the existing brace that is between the halves can be repaired by welding a small patch on it.

HInges are in great shape. SO is the rest of the door.
Just this speration issue. NOw the brace thats in there, where is it?? I looked up inside the door and it looks like i only have a braket for the mirror mounting pionts. I must be missing something.
