Question 3 point seat belt?

Hay people. Does anyone know what types of cars/trucks would make a good doner for 3 point seat belts. I would like to make my truck a little bit more safe. I am looking for black retractable shoulder belts. Any info would be appreciated. Thanks.

I just recently have seen a write up on putting 72- up ford truck retractables in. I dont know if you have a problem using blue oval stuff, its just another option.

Question

How did you guys fasten the top mount to the cab? I can see how to mount the bottom easy enough but I'm a little unclear how to fasten the top bracket to the side of the cab securely without drilling through the side of the cab ;-) ..............

My truck has a threaded hole already there for the 3 point belt, just has a plug in it. Yours should too I would think.
Good luck.

I used S-10 belts from an 85 and they worked pretty good, used a steel bar to extend them a bit more forward and had to use a few shims but they work quite well.

When I first got my old Longhorn it had a set of late model 3 point retractable belts in it...the state inspecter made me remove them. It was that, or get them certified by the state.
Tampering with safety items can be a bigget PITA then you think. Keep your old pieces if you do this.
