Hydroboost - did I do good?

Hey guys, I grabbed this in a hurry yesterday. A guy had it on CL for $50 and I figured it was a no brainer since I needed a new booster anyway. This is from an 80s Chevy truck, the guy didn't remember the details, but did pull it from a working truck. Just wondered if anyone recognized it? It definately looks different than the new ones that musclerodz sells...

Any prob using my stock disk/drum proportioning valve with it?

I've got links to all the hydroboost posts and I'm wading through them. I'm leaning toward setting it up like Yukon Jack's so I can add the hydraulic clutch later...

Did I do good? Thanks, Tony

Looks just like mine, although a lot cleaner. Mine was out of an 85 (I think) Diesel suburban.

Are you going to find a pump or try to modify your own?

Edit: Its been a while since Ive read about them, and I havent installed mine yet, but im almost positive your prop valve still works.

Re: Hydroboost - did I do good?

Haven't decided on the pump. It works fine, so I'll probably try to change the fittings or have custom hoses made up. The hydroboost came with two hoses, but the threads are pretty rough. Haven't looked real close yet though. I just don't have a thread chaser in that size. I'll see if my three sided file will clean them up and go from there...
