What year are these?
Purchased these on ebay last night. Said they came out of a 76 blazer? I thought 73-76 were hi-back buckets? They look like original covers whatever they are. If anyone can help with date, it would be appreciated. Thanx in advance.

Re: What year are these?
I could believe '76. The first few years of the new body style did have low backs. I am not sure what year they went to high backs. If that is a yellow bow tie on the console it is definitely '73 or newer.

Re: What year are these?
Yes sir, it is yellow. Would the earlier style seat covers fit? They look like 71-72 seats.

Re: What year are these?
I think the center console is pre 73. Didn't they change to cupholders in 73 and not seatbelt holders? i think the seats are post 73. I could be wrong though.

Re: What year are these?
I've never tried the 71-72 covers but have heard that they will work. Those are 73-76 blazer seats. The main difference is that the brackets are a couple inches taller, and lean back a little more than the 71-72 buckets.good score!

Re: What year are these?
Do ya think the seat covers for a 71-72 will fit? I can check around to find different sliders.

Re: What year are these?
They should, someone had a pic of of later blazer seats covered in 71-72 covers; I think they said that the foam needed to be shaved down a little to fit. I'll try lookinn for it, not sure what it was under.

Re: What year are these?
Dan, the earlier seat covers will fit --not perfect but probably good enough. The 73 low back bucket seats had a little less padding in the seat so you will have a little more material to hog ring. The console with the seat belt holder was carried over into 73++ by 77 it was the cup holder style.

Re: What year are these?
Those are definitely 73-76 seats AND console. They are alot cheaper usually that the 69-72. Thr right upholstery guy can make the older seat covers work fine. On the brackets for the 69-72 truck you can get the passenger side aftermarket, and can hopefully find a set for the drivers side.
Mine are 75 true truck buckets i think( they looked just like yours) with 72 covers. I got lucky and found some factory brackets for fine.
