WTB roof or window frames

I'd like to buy a solid roof for some pieces of the windshield frame and back window (big window) frame. The roof can be sawed in half for what I need it for.....just don't want rust and that's not possible in the northeast.

Re: WTB roof or window frames

how much do you need? I have a cab top that I cut off and is just sitting in my shed. I did cut off some of the window frame to fix my cab so that's why I ask how much you need.

on the rear I need 6" of the lower window frame, driver's side. And on the front I need 8-12" top passenger's side.

Re: WTB roof or window frames

sorry, I can't help you. I went and checked, the back section is pretty well gone and the front passengers side piece is ok but you could probably find better.
-- here's a ttt for ya though.

Thanks for checking. The front issue is a result of poor fit from the factory. They tried to fill a pretty big void with sealer which failed. It was well hidden by the original paint so we had no idea what we had under there. I'd like to cut the front metal off to get underneath it.

I'm not concerned about shipping charges; we have pretty decent LTL rates.

Let me know what you have

Re: WTB roof or window frames

Have two, both pod/light type. Purple one has been cut off, good for parts, black one is complete as shown, good for a graft or parts. If you have pics of the areas you need , I can get pics of the same areas on these to compare.

Last PIC. The truck was repainted in 1993 when I purchaced her. It was only time since factory paint. She spent a lot of time in a barn under cover. Thanks for the reply. Mike

Re: WTB roof or window frames

It's really hard to tell anything with the windows in (I'm not asking anyone to pull out the glass for me to look at). This cab looked fine until we blasted it. If some one is cutting one up or scrapping one these are the areas I need:

Well all I can tell you is the windows did not leak but the wife smashed the front end into a potato truck so I parked it. Mashed but not fried, LOL. The rear frame
is a little soft and I have 3 other 4x4's still on the road so to the junk yard she goes now. Too bad I am so far north because you could have it for hauling away.

You're in Maine; correct? If your wife hit a potato truck then it's safe to assume you're in "The County"....how far up?

I could use the whole roof if you want to cut it off. Let me know what truckers (NEMF, Yellow, Watkins/FEDEX, anyone coming down early with Christmas trees) are up there and we'll arrange something to get it down here!

Thanks!
