Re: would this look stupid?

NICE truck! If you plan on replacing the tires also, I would go with 17 or 18's...not much bigger, or you will kill your ride quality IMO (the less rubber you have, the bumpier the ride)

Re: would this look stupid?

I say run the 15's (but then again I'm from close to Canada, ehhh) I'm running 15's on my truck... But I'm going for that classic look...(see my build thread in signature) plus, I bought all 4 rims for under $500.00 and tires will be less than $100.00 a piece... So I guess thats makes me cheap as well...

Leave it the way it is - those black wheel set the truck off very nicely.

the truck is bagged, i like the black rims as well im just kind of getting tired of them, 2 main reasons i like the 15's is i just bought new tires all around and i dont want to have to do alot of modifications if i go to a larger tire

Paint the rims body color or that rally silver/gray color and run some smoothie caps for a while. That should be different enough for a while and pretty cheap (I'm not "feelin'" the rims you picked out, sorry )

Re: would this look stupid?

personally im a steelie wheel fan and i like your truck the way it is but if youre getting tired of them then try a new coat of a different color paint and see how you feel before droppin money on new wheels that youre unsure about

my biggest concern with 20's is whether or not ill still be able to go as low as i am now which isnt totally low but, i dont want to put on some 20's and then find out im an inch or so higher than i was before. i actually thought of painting the rims back to rally silver or something as well that might be different too

Re: would this look stupid?

IMO your truck looks good as is.
If I were to change rims, I would def go w/ 18 or 20s.
Ride height change should be minimal which could be adjusted by the bags. Less meat more rim.

Re: would this look stupid?

15s will look as good as 15s always have for over 50 years before ghetto-cruisers became popular. Not flaming larger rims, just defending 15s.I didn`t see alot of hoopsters at Carlisle yesterday.I saw a few and, well, they looked out of place.
Why not get those wheels and coat the centers black?Won`t be cheap but will keep your theme yet refine it to a new level. Then, all you need to polish is the rim. That`s easy!
