If you are going to do a tonneau skip the drop in, they cause problems. If you do get a tonneau, get on with rails with snaps, dont put snaps on the ged, they will distort the metal. The bed mat sounds like a good idea though.

I got my dad a Tonnea Master brand from Truckchamp.com I think and the bedmat from Pep Boys.

Truckchamp lists only 1973 and newer. No Pep Boys nearby. any other suggestions?

The 1973 and up bed mats will work good in the 67-72 trucks. They do have a slit on each side by the front of the bed for the gas tanks/

Don't even think of getting a plastic bed liner. The plastic is tougher than paint and will grind it off anywhere the bed liner touches paint and moves.
Go to a used car lot, open the tailgate of any truck with a bed liner, lift the bedliner from the floor, and look at the bare metal and rust. Last edited by 72lb4x4; 04-26-2008 at 07:53 AM. |
