SB Headers w/factory a/c questions

Please give me your input on the headers you are running w/factory a/c on your SBC.How much modification was necessary to run factory a/c brackets? How is spark plug placement in reguards to maintenance? Ease of installation?
What did you think of the finish you choose? As always pics are cool. Thanks in advance.

Hooker super comps. I've had them on several vehicles and they are on my 71. Getting to the spark plugs is always a "challenge" when running headers, but it's worth it. Just stay away from the low ball brands. There is a reason they are less expensive. I gotta get some pics up soon.

Re: SB Headers w/factory a/c questions

I'm signing on to watch this thread becasue I have some of the same questions I think.

FWIW, I am going to run Hooker headers with the factory AC. I havent done it yet as the motor is stillon my engine stand instead of in the truck, but the headers came with accessory brackets to help in bolting up i think PS and AC

Yes, I have the factory a/c. It should be sunny this weekend. I need to get the girl out and clean her up. I'll try to take some pics and post em up. Oh, and like Chris said, the Hookers supercomps come with the brackets for all the assc. stuff.

Rex, I'd apreciate seeing those pics as well. It sounds like you have the setup I am trying for so any pictures of the placement of all the accessories would be greatly appreciated.
