Invisible Wiring Harnesses

Hey everyone. I'm trying to get some ideas to make my engine compartment completely devoid of of visible wiring. I don't know if that is entirely possible, but the cleaner the better.

If you have attempted such a feat, would you be willing to share the results of your endeavor?

Thanks everyone!

Mike

Another thing you can do is hide it in a metal "conduit" then paint it to match. You can use 3/16"-1/2" brake line tubing. Form it to whatever surface its mounted. Of corse this wont work with all of the factory harness ends, but if you are going custom, its an option.

Re: Invisible Wiring Harnesses

I have an almost no-show wiring harness. It routes out the bottom of the cab on the passenger side to the frame rail, runs forward on the rail to the rad support and then up onto the support. Any exposed areas are pulled through rubber fuel line (5/16") or heater hose (starter 5/8"). The wires for the carb, air pump, and temp sender come up the back of the motor and route along the inner valve cover also in fuel line.

No pics at the moment, she's torn up right now...

Re: Invisible Wiring Harnesses

I also have a custom harness with the fuse box in the former glove box/heater area.

That's a great idea and the kind of ideas I'm looking for. Thanks!
