Re: exaust?
I have them on my 71. i paid $20 or so is all. They're okay. More quiet than straight pipe but still too loud for the neighbors. They want to know if I'm going to put new mufflers on when the new engine goes in. My reply was "of course I am - these are like new because I only put about 500 miles on them..." Enter shaking head and walking away here. Soundwise, they don't sound all that great, but I was looking to get it on the road cheap. Maybe they'll sound better on your ride. Good luck.

Re: exaust?
I'm talking about the welded ones. and there is NOOO diffrence between them and flowmaster 40s that I can see on with a flashlite and looking in or by sound. I have about 3.5 ft of after the headers until it hits the mufflers and then about a ft out or so it dumps. The whole point in the test was to see if I would gain anything from new exaust because the **** I had looks like it was bent on a vice. The result was me ordering a pypes 2.5 mandral bent exaust kit with an xpipe. When I drive now I produce boost at lower RPM's where as before I had to realy get on it and it feels a lot better

Re: exaust?
I've got one on my 96, its one in, two out, and I love it. It sounds mean as hell, I've gotten a ton of compliments on it. I would put a pair of them on the GMC but I think it would be way too loud with the headers.
