steering gear box?

Can i use a manual steering gearbox off of a 69 chevy truck and put it on my 62 chevy?

You can use a manual gear box from a '69 on your '62, however you may have to drill some new holes in the framerail, in order to ensure proper steering geometry.

Having done several power steering conversions on '60-'66 Chevy trucks, I recommend doing the conversion on your '62, if you are replacing the manual steering gear box.

In any case, good luck with your project.
