mounts/general q&a
okay, i have a 1969 8 1/2ft lwb 2wd 250L6 pickup, and i have a few questions
(im not really doing a resto, my DD crapped out and this is my alternative) 1. what are the signs of needing cab floor supports v. cab mounts? i may need both but mounts are free (hockey pucks are legal in maine), my cab leans, which i know is the mounts and i need rockers cab corners and floors, but the back have of the floors sag to the outside of the truck....is this a sign of support failure or a stock setup? 2. will the bellhousing on my l6 match that which is on my 78 350? 3. mounts? 4. how much work to swap to leafs in the back? just bolt in the shackles and u-bolts? any other advice? |

welcome to the board...
i am somewhat confused on your set up... you have a bed that is 8 feet 6 inches long... but with coils? Do you have any photos of the truck? |
