Re: Hot...

Rear wheels wouldn't roll, so I pulled the drive shaft out to see if the trans was stuck or the rear was busted or the brakes were stuck... dunno what it was, but it didnt break loose till it was on the trailer

I've know bout it since he got it about a year ago, just felt like buying something today

I think the brakes were just stuck, but the rear may be busted IDK
The engine was running when he got it, but last time he tried it wouldnt turn over NBD

My dad will either drive it or his yellow one to the Nat board meet !!!

Re: Hot...

Wow man, that'd make an awesome patina'd shop truck. Didn't really see any rust holes in it, looks like a solid start.

Re: Hot...

Sweet truck man. It's what mine would look like if I ever let it go. Mine was a factory LWB 50th cab with a light blue replacement right fender. Now it's a SWB short stepper, black on black.

Re: Hot...

Well, got it into the shop... funny thing happens when you have no brakes & you dont know it
Ran into some stuff laying in its path, but nothing but a funnel was hurt

Put a different starter on it, drained the umm... oil ???

Then had a war with the oil filter

But in the end, we got it running & will be doing some tests on it tomorrow

Re: Hot...

The thing that sticks immediately is the dreaded broken door strap crunch crease. I have quite a few of those around here.
